Affiliate Program Terms

These Affiliate Program Terms ("Terms") govern participation in the CommentSurgeaffiliate program ("Program"), operated by AutoGenShorts, trading as CommentSurge, London, United Kingdom. By joining the Program or using an affiliate link, you ("Affiliate") agree to these Terms.

1. Enrollment

Any registered CommentSurge user may join the Program from their dashboard. Enrollment is free and automatic. We may suspend or terminate affiliate accounts that violate these Terms at any time, with unpaid commissions forfeited in cases of abuse.

2. Commission

  • You earn 30% of every payment a referred customer makes for their first 12 months of paid subscription — monthly and annual plans both count (annual pays the full 30% up front).
  • Commissions are calculated on the net amount actually received after taxes and fees.
  • There is no cap on the number of referrals or total earnings.
  • Self-referrals are not eligible for commission.

3. Tracking & attribution

  • Referrals are tracked via your unique link and code (?ref=YOUR-CODE), which sets a 60-day cookie. Attribution goes to the last affiliate link clicked before signup.
  • If a visitor clears cookies, uses a different browser/device, or signs up after the cookie expires, the referral cannot be attributed — no exceptions.
  • Referrals are recorded when the visitor creates a CommentSurge account.

4. Payouts

  • Commissions become payable NET-30 after the associated payment clears (to account for refunds and chargebacks).
  • The minimum payout balance is $25. Balances below the threshold roll over to the next payout cycle.
  • Payouts are made via PayPal or Wise to the payout email in your affiliate dashboard. You are responsible for keeping payout details current and for any taxes on your earnings.
  • If a customer is refunded or a chargeback occurs, the related commission is reversed.

5. Permitted & prohibited promotion

You may promote CommentSurge through honest means, including:

  • Content marketing: blog posts, reviews, tutorials, newsletters
  • Social media, YouTube, podcasts, communities where self-promotion is allowed
  • Email to lists you own, in compliance with anti-spam law
  • Paid advertising — except bidding on "CommentSurge" or confusingly similar brand terms

You may not:

  • Spam, send unsolicited bulk messages, or post affiliate links where self-promotion is prohibited
  • Make false or misleading claims about CommentSurge, its features, or its pricing
  • Use cookie-stuffing, forced clicks, iframes, or deceptive redirects
  • Offer unauthorized discounts, rebates, or incentives that misrepresent our pricing
  • Register domains, social handles, or ads impersonating CommentSurge
  • Refer yourself or accounts you control

6. Relationship

Affiliates are independent contractors, not employees, partners, or agents of CommentSurge. You may not bind CommentSurge or make commitments on our behalf.

7. Program changes & termination

We may modify commission rates, cookie duration, or these Terms with 30 days' notice (posted on this page or emailed). Earned commissions remain payable. We may terminate the Program or any affiliate account at any time; termination for Terms violations forfeits unpaid commissions.

8. Liability

The Program is provided "as is." CommentSurge is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from participation. Our total liability under these Terms is limited to commissions earned but unpaid in the prior 3 months.
